Roo Turns Three

For his birthday, I suggested that instead of having a birthday party with friends, we can have a simple family dinner and use the party money to share food and stuff with orphans.  Roo readily agreed.  But there's one thing he's been asking for quite a while now:  Mommy, can I have a violin when I'm three?

Daddy E and I happily bought him one.  From the time we bought the instrument, if at all possible, he doesn't want to part with his violin.  Even brought it with him on the bed for his afternoon nap.  His daddy taught him how to hold and use the bow, and he has since been diligently practicing.

Happy Birthday our dear Roo!

Auntie Hae, thank you! I asked already, and I'm waiting for Jesus to give me my baby sis. Can hardly wait to help change her diaper, and play with her too!

Hi Uncle Dong! Thank you for greeting me on my birthday! I have only learned bowing, I'm waiting for the time my violin teacher would take me in for lessons. Can hardly wait!

Jenny, yup! I'm excited to hear Roo play me a tune. For now, he's practicing his bowing because the violin teacher said that's the hardest part of teaching a kid his age to play.

Happy Birthday Roo!

Good that he shows interest in music at early age and you'll soon to be a stage mother...hehehe.

Hi there Ann! You don't know how relieved I am that my son has music in his blood! Buti di nagmana sakin na walang kahilig-hilig sa music!

My prayers, exactly, Toe! That Roo will soon play beautiful music on his violin :D

Greymom, he's been wanting to play since he was two! Guess it helped that we always played music since he was a tiny baby in me...and a big plus, his dad is a musician too!
